btw, where can I go to get my speedo and odometer corrected? Its 5 mph off from the tire size change and taking the speedo needle off to fix the mileage on the cluster swap I did a while back.

I want that cluster!

Alright i'm just going to spill it all out. I've read every post on here and i feel it would be best for me to just ask "again" a question that all of you have probley answered before, (u getting this)? I have a 2002 ford ranger edge. I would like to do the gauge swap. If i find one i like and it has close enough mileage can I just take mine out and plug the new one in if it looks like all the gauges and trips are the same? I always get kind of a weird feeling when i'm doing a "big task" like this. I just don't want to ruin anything.

2001~2003 Ranger clusters are a direct replacement for your 2002. If the transmissions are different, you just need to swap the PRND2L indicator for the blank manual plate or vice versa. Lighter colored clusters (white or silver) are different for 2WD and 4WD. Black clusters are all the same.

The gauges in 95~2000 Ranger clusters are compatible but there can be indicator light differences as compared to your 2002.

Thanks for all the info! I was really wanting to know about swaping it out with the sport trac or explorer sport guage cluster? But all that info helped me out also. Sorry about that

Best bet is 2001~2003 Sport/Sport Trac cluster in a 2001~2003 Ranger.
