guage cluster

I am wanting to change my gauge cluster in my 93 ranger but dont know whats really involved in it. Can I buy a new one and swap it in or do I have to buy pods and newer indivual guages? Any input is welcomed.

Yes you can get another one and just plug it in, I'm not sure what years fit a 93 though. I put an 01 sportrac cluster in my 2000 and it works perfectly.

I believe a '91 - '94 Explorer with a Tach would work and possibly a '93 - '94 Ranger one would work. I'm hesitant to say '92 and earlier Rangers would work as I don't know. Ranger's changed their interior in 1995 along with the Explorers.

o ok I just dont like the way mine looks and I want to put a tach in and thought it would be easier to just put a whole new cluster with a tac in.
