what rangers have a light for the headlight switch? cuz i dont think mine has one

Yeah they light up, but don't last long lol. I noticed mine once then took it to the dealer under warranty. Thing is they light up once the trucks cranked on either the headlights on or off.

For 2004 they put a nice entry door on the side of the dash so access to the light switch takes 30 seconds or less. :D

Every Ranger has one, yours is just burned out.

I'd recommend following John Griggs' how-to and replacing it with an LED.
