Right forum, but what YEAR Ranger?

Check both heater hoses, under the hood, at the Firewall, if both are warm, after engine is warmed up, then the heater core is not blocked, skip to Blend Door
If only one hose is warm then core is blocked
If both are cold then the 4 hose By-Pass is broken, replace it

If its 1995 and up then the electric Blend Door motor is the most likely problem, common issue, hard to fix, lol

Google: Ford ranger blend door repair

Loads of info

The Blend Door routes air thru or around the heater core, yours is stuck closed so no air is going thru heater core

1994 and earlier used a Cable to operate blend door
1994 and earlier also don't have 4 hose by-pass

Test if heater core is OK first, both hoses warm or HOT

In a perfect world this video will work for you
But when was the last time you got a flat tire in the parking lot of an OPEN tire shop, lol

But on many years the Blend Door actuator(electric motor) is SCREWED down, and its very hard to unscrew it

Video of that setup removal here
