i dont know what its called but...

hey guys. i have a 2004 ranger and i noticed that there are some "hook" like things near the doors. they are for like a pull out "tarp" that a lot of cars have that just hides the stuff inside your truck from anybody looking in. im getting a sub and an amp and i have to mount it out in the open. so i want this "pull out tarp" thing so i can hide everything. if you know what the offical name for this is and/or where i can get it id appreciate it! thanks!

Usually it's a cargo cover... only in ext. cab 2 door rangers... kinda wish I had one... I know I've seen aftermarket ones... but I'd start at ebay or junkyards?? I'm sure someone else will have a better idea...

its a cargo cover that was available on 93-97 rangers and some 98s, kind of died out around then. my truck didnt have one but i installed one. youll need the cover and maybe the panel that covers it. unless you have a 4 door, then you are SOL

both my 4door 2000 & 2door 2003 have the hooks molded in the side panels so i dont see why it wouldn't work except i cant remember how the jack mounted to the back wall of the 4door

yeah i have a 2dr cab and have always wanted one of those but never put the effort or rememberted to ask about it. that is weird that it is hidden like that. the suv ones i have seen can be removed altogether and are just a single unit.
