Interior Update

Is it possible to "update" the interiors in our trucks to a newer model? I have a single cab 1994 Ranger and I HATE the stock bench seat. What's a good upgrade? I kinda like the 60/40 split with the flip down cupholder armrest I've seen. What about the dash? Any other ideas?

You can absolutely change out the seats to either a 60/40 or just two bucket seats. As for the dash, I believe your body style, the Gen III ran from 93 to 97, and the dashboard you have in your truck was only offered from 89 and 94. I'm not positive, but I think you could swap in a 95-97 dash board as an update.

Its pretty much the same from 95 to now. There are a few updates like an integrated headlight/fog light switch and a few trim pieces. There is probably more but nothing major.

Yeah all the newer stuff should bolt in just fine without any major modification.

Im sorry I am posting to an old thready but i cannot make a new thread. I just bought a 1993 Ranger regular cab. i want to change out my dash/door panels to a 98+. Mainly because i want the double din space to put a touchscreen head unit with navigation etc. Am I right in saying that the general consesus here is that i could do that without much problem? Just buy the parts and swap them out?
