as you can see in the last pic I already got my driver's side a little dirty...

the center material definitely is different than oem, though thats not necessarily a bad thing.
also note i havent replaced my center console material.

It's definitely a different texture than the gray was. Not in a bad way, just different. I've not seen any factory colors other than gray

Just got mine done... finally. Let me say again how much I hate hog rings. Much easier the second time around knowing what you are doing. My center console looks so dirty compared to the seats now... I have an idea in mind for that... I might e-mail Terry and see what he can do for me. But, for now it will do. I couldn't figure out how to even get the lid off without breaking something. Anyways... on to the pics....

Couldn't find any before pictures besides this one when I first got the truck.

The pics I got from Terry before they shipped.

Didn't really get any before/during/after pics of the passenger... but here it is done:

Done and installed..... please excuse the mess in my truck. Several mods going on at once and lots of tools laying around.

not to be picky, but are you supposed to be able to see the three dips in the passenger seat (from the hog rings i suppose) Other than that, cant wait till i have my FX4 style ones for the 60/40s at the end of the month!

Nope... on the stock seats they have hog rings there... and the new covers didn't have the plastic thing you put the rings on there... I didn't know any better and thought they were supposed to be there anyway, and didn't realize it looked bad until I put the seat back together. I will eventually take them out and it will not dip down like that. But it's a whole ordeal to get to that point, lol.

And thanks! :) They look awesome, except for the dips, haha. I REALLY wanna do the fabric on my doors in the black/red checkered look, and maybe the whole center console... but I dunno. Those get pretty dirty easily, but it will look sweet I think.

Got some other red mods going on in the interior... will post pics later when that's all done.

Let me know how it goes... take pics of the process too. If it's not too hard I might just do that too.

I emailed Terry regarding mine and he sent me this:

Hi Scott.
If you are talking aout the second plastic wire that goes accross the seat cushion. Thats ok. You do NOT need to hog ring there. Even if the originals had them....At one time, Ford decided to take them out and changed that without needing to change the foam. If there is no plastic wire to hold a hog ring, dont use hog rings. If you feel that though time it would get wrinkles, i can change them now. I say that will be ok. There is no problem to send you replacement....send me a picture of the seat cushion foam. And let me know what you decide. Thanks so much
He is a great seller, cant wait to get mine in!

Hi Guys. Finally here and ready to post answers to questions you have.

I'm posting a thread on how to replace your armrest covers.

I'm trying to get pictures on how to replace your seat covers too. I need a little more time to get all info together to post them. Here it is. I'm getting familiar on how to post pictures here.

https://www.ranger-forums.com/showth...29#post1829329

I have seen some of your work and they definitively look great. I should had provided with some hints. And i'm sorry for that. I should resolve your issues here, better than emailing back and for. But very impressed with the work done. I had done these sets and some of them never seen them installed. Very nice. Just how I pictured them.

I really want to say I hate you all guys, but in a good way.

I have been thinking about replacing the gray inserts on my seats with blue to match the exterior but never did anything about it. Now I see this thread the pictures and the prices.

And why I say I hate you all:
I just dropped $300 on a set of SVT Focus seats (front and rear designed like FX4 L2 seats) for my Focus. Last week I got layed off. I haven't finished paying for SVT seats and now you go and show me these. And I now want to know if Terry can make me Focus seat covers in light gray with the red inserts because the SVT seats are Black leather with Red inserts and my interior is light gray.

The seat covers look great and you guys are making me want to spend money I do not have.
