ohc in 97 ranger

hi all, i have aquired an ohc from a 99 merc mountaineer. also got the seats and the sunvisors as they were MUCH better than i had in my ranger. question is, does the ohc do anything more than show temp and directions? just trying to fiind out if i need to gobacvk to jy and find more parts or not. if it is just temp and direction, no prob, i just don't want to give up anything if it is available on that unit. thanks much for any info jp

just temp and direction. If you live somewhere with cold weather, It'll flash "ICE" when its 32* or below. Aside that, it doesn't do anything else other than temp and direction.

But the coolest part is that you get to drive around in a circle a few times in each direction in a large parking lot! I did this the other day after the install (quiet Sunday morning I thought). When I was finished, another guy walked up to me and asked if I was calibrating my compass! I guess he's been through this as well.
