OOPPSS OHC CONSOLE BRACKET PROBLEM

Hey guys I went to redue my retrofitted ohc/ and other things and ended up stripping the two bracket hold down bolts for the ohc. now i cant put a screw to tightended. Damn Im p..........ed I tightended it too much and should have known better.

what can I do about this?
would putting in bigger bolts be the wrong idea?
should I get some jb weld and sealed the holes so I could redrill them?

Please help me out. thanks

I did the same thing stripped out the holes with #8 screws, then I went to #10 and did the same thing
I finally did it right with #12. I used 3/4" pan head self drillers. The heads were big, but everything fit fine.
