Passenger Airbag Cover....NEED ADVICE

how difficult and what all is involved with getting the passenger airbag cover out of the dash to paint in a 2002?

It's attached to the air bag. Remove the air bag via the four or six screws that hold it in then peal the cover off. At least that's what I did when I took my air bag out.

well since im painting the stock one will it hurt anything to paint it while its still on the airbag?
