In texas the law states nothing more than 3 candle power shining on the ground within 15 feet of the vehicle. That pretty much rules out neons. :( Washer nozzles are ok though, as long as they are white or amber.

Wow.. You guys are nice..
..I appreciate the honesty though. Any specific reason you think it looks like ****?.. If you say because it's an Explorer.. you guys suck.. lol.

It's illegal here also, but interior lights are okay as long as the actual light isn't visible from the outside of the vehicle. They're not as bright as they look.
Checkout my registry n tell me what you think about everything else if you don't mind.

I'm curious, do you think just Mine looks like ****, or Needforspeed3685's also? They're virtually the same lighting scheme.

im not a fan of many exterior mods simply because i like a clean look and neons remind me of a honda. if u want lights on ur truck....... get a bumper and get some Hella or K.C. lights

Ya know what.. I agree.. For the most part, I think neons are ridiculous and ricey. These under dash Cathodes are pushing it for me, but they're not overkill.. they're not overly bright.. just bright enough to give the cab a nice look IMO and so I can see all the crap everyone and myself drops down there. As for lighting the road, I've got 6000K Hids.. which at first I was skeptical about.. I didn't want it to be all ricey.. I chose 6000K so it would have a slight unique look.. they have a very very slight blue tint, but other than that... very white and bright... BIG improvement over stock lighting.. I can see a lot more down the road.. In Alaska during the winter, it's dark most of the time.. have to use all the light you can possibly get. I was going to get some KC Slimlites and mount them to my bumper, but with my budget at that moment in time.. this HID kit was very affordable, and it's a nice upgrade. It's dual beam also, High/Low.

Came down to 115$ shipped for dual beam HIDs, or 280$ for the KC Lights.. Off-Road/Long Range with the 130w..

Hell, I still might get them down the road.. They look pretty nice.

Oh, It's nothing personal, I just think all neons look like ****.

They belong to the Fast and Furious days.

I am with Dave, OEM+ or bust.

I like my cars/trucks to look stock (Sans some suspension)

Curious as to how you guys are powering your neons. Dedicated 12v source? Splicing off the cig lighter? Dome light? Where did you guys mount your switches? Thanks.

Mine.. are powered by the parking lights. I have a hidden switch inside the middle console. [Kinda pointless, but it's there....]
