Ranger wind noise fix Video

Be sure guys that you roll the window down to do this application and then roll the window up so that it will help put a tight push on the window for it to seal. Also be sure to check the entire surrounding weatherstip of the window as the weatherstrip starts to brittle and loose its shape over years. good luck with your fix.

If you just jockey the window a little, it will seal up just fine. I've always had to tap the down then up to seal it once it is up.

thanks for the vid!! I'll try to pick some up tomorrow... I noticed this afternoon that I can mash on the windshield near there and I can feel wind, think this will fix the noise?

I would like to have a steppie but I don't think my fender flares would look too hot with it....

so If I was to go do this can I do it on the outside seam as well? Going to call the shop tomorrow to schedule a time for them to inspect/fix it... just checking through my paperwork and I have a lifetime warranty on it so why not, If they can;t find it I will do this...like I said it only happens when I don;t have the vent visors in there, when i remove them it sounds like my windows cracked but in reality it's not...

Shortbed just refers to how long the bed it. Fleetside is the bed you have on the truck now. I have a stepside and want a fleetside. Here is what my bed looks like:

Clear silicone or the black weatherstripping. I've used both I say the Clear RTV is your best bet, the black stuff is a mess.

BTW- I fixed my truck, they had to re-align the door the top was off by only a little bit, so now I'm good
