Sport Trac Cluster Installed!

I got my Sport Trac Cluster installed...Pretty easy to do...Rolling the miles up was the biznitch....Had to roll 'em 6000 miles from 47,000 to 53,000...Also took me a bit to get the gear selector switched out....Hard to get under the dash and hook up the wire to make the selector move....I pulled the 3 pieces of the cluster out of the Sport Trac cluster and swapped them with my cluster....I also did not use the Sport Trac plastic cover and silver bezel....I used mine from my truck...Here are the before and after shots!

LOL....I did drive it a little to make sure the speedo was gonna be all right....Everything was cool...My speedo is off like 3 mph, but that is because of the bigger tires....I rolled the odometer to 53,037....It started at around 47,000 and something....

i just won mine on ebay. there were three i found, one was getting bid on by a 03yelllowedge username so i tried to let that one alone. lol i cant wait ti deal with the odometer, since the one i have has 39,000 miles on it and my truck only has 26,000 miles on it, but it was out of a 4x4, so i couldnt pass it up. you'll be hearing from me soon, most likely with odometer problems

Are there any dangers of changing the gages voiding your warenty or anything? How could I make sure that it is documented that I changed the odometer to represent my actual miles? I know that if I was buying a car that had different gages in it, I would wonder if the miles on it were accurate.

the ecu will still give the actual miles if someone is really skeptical, but as long as you are up front about it when you try and sell they should understand
