Never tried cutting another hole for a switch. Maybe in the spring (yards closed for the winter) I'll grab a ranger bezel and try it. I'm doing it this way because I know who's done one and I've talked to him before starting. I ended up using one of the red 3M scotch brite pad looking things to sand it down. I used one of them to scuff my grille surround before painting it red to match the truck and it worked well

I always use the Red 3m pad before i paint, doesn't matter how long i've been sanding something, that Red scotch pad just works good.
