Icon10 underdash leds in

Well mostly anyways...(temp hooked to power outlet lol)

I used two Oznium straight LED Modules and mounted them under my dash using the included 3M adhesive backing. On the driver side to the bottom of the metal holder thing for the flasher module and then on the passenger side to the bottom of some plastic wire connector in the middle.

The mostly part comes from the fact I had planned to hook into my dome light wire and haven't gotten to it yet. The wiring diagram shows it should be a black/blue wire which I believe i saw before it got dark in the wire bundle that runs along the left(drivers)side of the transmission tunnel up to the interior relay box. I'm also tempted to hook it up to a second power source using a switch mounted in my radio bezel so I can turn them on/off without the dome on. making for sort of an ambient lighting when the mood strikes :D

Ok here's a few more picts (for some reason they came out blurry)

This is where I taped into black blue wire in the bundle near the interior relay box under driver side dash:

Under drivers side mounted to bottom of the holder for the turn signal flasher module:

Passenger side mounted to the bottom of some harness plug:

Yeah, I already have plenty of blue leds left over to do them too. Makes me wish rangers had door/window switches that light up too. Tons of blue leds everywhere haha.

I'm just not sure if I want to deal with the hassle of changing them just yet. Looks to be a bit of a pita including airbag removal.

I love Oznium products I really like how my footwells turned out. Now I'm wishing I would have bought a round rocker switch from them to be able to toggle them on/off without the dome being on as well as put some lighting in my dash HVAC vents(most likely white too).

I'm also an LED addict as I've got LEDs all over my truck. One of the next mods I'm currently considering is adding some amber leds under my cab that function as running lights, turn signals, and hazards either by purchasing a recon or putco running light kit or making my own using angle iron and Beefy LEDs Strips from Oznium.

But before I do that I still have to finish my custom 07+ SD cargo/3rd break light. I keep making improvements to the circuitry and I'm on like my 4th revision. I'm also thinking about adding an LED into my dash to flash with the PATS(ANTI-THEFT) to make it more visible plus the one in my gauge cluster isn't working anyways.

Let the modding continue
