explorer dome light

explorer dome light

sorry im sure this has been brought up before but i have a 98 ext cab ranger and just installed a explorer dome light and it works great but it has a lil gap in the back and i have seen people have them flush mounted i would ever so grateful if someone could tell me how to do this

dose it bolt right in??? all the screws line up??? or do i need to take the metal plate fromt the explder also if i do this conversion on my 98 mine is broke

3 screws hold the stock one in

holes in the expo dome are the same just re-install and youre good to go

I just put in one from a 93 mustang and had to cut a piece off of the back so it would sit flat. Looks as if it was supposed to go in a slot in the roof.
