Took Bronco2 on first test
Had a fricken awesome day at Bundy Hill ORV Park in Michigan on Saturday. Me and my wife Dawn went up with my buddies in BorderLine4x4 for a crazy day of wheelin. We had some pretty well equipt trucks in the group along with some mild daily drivers and that made for a fun mix. Lots of recovery, lots of mud,one trailside repair,no major breakage and perfect weather!
Today was the first real test for my Bronco since doing the complete drivetrain swap and the POS kicked *** all day. I have never wheeled in something with this much power on tap. I learned that to much skinny pedal in the soft bottemless mud would just dig myself straight down to the frame in about 2 seconds. But the power was amazing when I was pulling everybody out in sight! I give the Bronco an A- for the day{broke my parking brake cable which rubbed my tire all day}.
And again Dawn took the Liberty out and did a great job.She gets better everytime we go out.She follows her spotters instructions even against her own judgement and that damn Liberty has impressed me again.
They had a RTI ramp in the parking lot so we all gave it a shot.

Clicked just a sec to late of me getting some air coming up a steep wall. lol

Yeah the B2 was sooo much fun! I watched 2 Jeep TJ's tryin to get out a stuck XJ with no luck ,then we hooked mine up to the XJ and after about four good pulls I had him out. The crowd was impressed. Love that 5.0 locked in 4low spinning 6000 rpm!
Wifes Liberty is mostly stock with a Daystar 2.5" spacer lift,Rough Country shocks in rear,245/75-16 MTR's and some homemade recovery points. It does surprising well for having no flex really. We plan to upgrade the front to some aftermarket control arms and struts to get rid of the spacers and Im going to build some sliders for it as well. Once thats done and a rear locker I think it will be able to go places she wont have the ***** to try.

Ha! Not until I put the D44 in and then break that! I still cant believe that old d35 is holding up so well. Thinking once I get the coilovers and D44 up front I might just step up to some 37's. I mean is it just me or does my truck look small even with the 35's??
37s would be great on there. IF you dont break anything on a 44 and 37s your not running it hard enough!!! i could shred a D44 axle shaft like it was a tooth pick.
i think so. there is equipment around and different types of rock/stone. there is also sandy areas. it's got a little bit of everything. like kyle mentioned the bigger rigs might have some difficulty but from what i hear atv's do good there.
Deathbypsi, you the same one as on turboford? If so you mind answering a question. I have the engbldr valves for a 2.3 and need to know what retainer to use to make them have good clearance. Hope you are.
Place is a blast! Planning on going back soon but without the mall crawlers to slow us down. I never got to hit the real hard trails due to the mild trucks in our group.
I like to go on saturdays because I go to bed real early on sundays for work.
M-F its a operational stone quarry. They open it up on the weekends for wheelin.Cool thing about that is the place is always changing.
I would love to have your dad check it out some day and even take it for a ride! Just wait til the next round of mods.
If you see a Deathbypsi anywhere on the web its me. Except for somebody on nutsNbutts.com...thats not me.
Hit me up with a PM.

All these pictures and you make mention of harder trails? I have not seen such pictures. To me it looks like a large gravel pit and I have not wanted to go that bad. Send me more pictures!
Oh these pix donr even show the half of what they have there! Rock gardens, hill climbs, the trails in the woods are sic,V-knotches to play in and man made obsticle courses. We couldnt do any of those this last time because of my wife and the guy in the Durango. Next time for sure.
