Well i figure i probally should start getting a Summer or fall meet planned. We discussed it with the few people at the Spring meet and figured it would be cool to go to the mohican again. Last time we didnt get to go Canoeing or tubing so i figure we will have to do that. We didn't have many people at the spring meet so i would like to have a nice turnout.

We could camp at the mohican adventures, last time we stayed at Pleasent hill lake. I really liked the camp ground myself. One of my buddys said they camped at a place called smiths and he really liked it. I guess it is right on the river. Input from you guys would be much appreciated. I want this meet to be awesome!!!

Now on to the dates. I was thinking mid july or possibly august. I would like to have it earlier but its up to everyone so people can get off work and stuff to attend, like i said i want a lot of people here..


If you have never been to a ohio meet before we usually arrive friday night and setup camp and get some food and drink a "little", Have the meet on saturday morning/afternoon and then pack up and leave on sunday..

So what do all of you think?

EDIT: After researching the campgrounds around the area it seems like Pleasant hill seems to be the best.. The other ones seem to be overly priced and are really picky on how many people per site. I think they only allowed 2 at mohican adventures and like 4 at smiths. We had no problems last year at pleasant hill.

 

I should def. be able to make this meet! Last time we were there it was a blast! Hope we can get a good turn out for this one.

 

Oh come on! My meets were more fun, people got arrested! LOL (JK about the more fun part).

I've heard Smiths was way expensive..

I could possibly stop by depending when it is. My birthday is July 23rd, so that weekend I wouldn't be able to make it. If you guys do happen to have the meet that weekend, you're more than welcome to stop out to my place for a night lol

 

I should be able to attend this meet I get back from vacation in mid july so whatever dates is fine with me, except work is really busy in august. At least it's not as far this time, last time it was a good drive to ceaser creek.

Are ranger enthusiasts allowed back at mohican adventures campground? I dont think they like us very much!! Go to the campground across the road from there.. the police said they dont monitor that one as much.. haha

 

I'm going to Texas for a week sometime in August not sure when exactly but I'll be at the meet if I'm not in Texas

 

Lol im not sure if were aloud but we wont be going there, it will be at the one we stayed at last summer.

 

im goin to an escape meet 2nd week of aug. at wayne national forrest. we dont hav all the details worked out, but we got at least 6 people from the east coast comn. would be cool to combine them

i think we are just looking to camp for a couple days and hang out...would love to drive some light trails but it doesnt appear that they offer that.

 

If you come around where i live i know of some other places you could go off road at though! Are these stock escapes or what?

 

pretty much stock, nobody is looking to do any serious off roading
