screw that. wait til summer or at least june.

i'l be honest, i'm not about to drive 3 hours to meet some of you guys and not do anything productive (wheeling). there is only three members in southwest ontario (south of london). the bulk is near TO and is easier for you guys to meet up.

Lazler 11-26-2009 01:12 AM

i hear you there.. We gotta get a good Windsor Meet too in 2010

DallyBoy09 11-26-2009 04:34 AM

if it was after xmas and not to far. Like over 4-5 hours I could make it. But like mentioned above would rather go wheeling or something like that.

Just my 2 cents. It just sucks there isn't more of us in eastern Ontario.

lumpy4000 11-26-2009 06:57 AM

im down. and if wheeling is what you want then get your asses up to my area. got a great place for a meet and wheeling. the wheeling would be more of what you would feel comfortable to attempt and if you just want to cruise through to the end, you have that option as well. lots of atv trails and side trails to give a go and and one long dirt road to the end. lots of room for lots of trucks, lots of places to pose and flex and break **** and lots of mud to get stuck in.

but if you want to just get together and stare at each others trucks at a timmies, then we should save that for the summer... either way, we should have a little gtg prior to christmas

lumpy4000 11-26-2009 06:58 AM

there is the Ontario RBV forum, but its kinda dead....

d-rock 11-26-2009 02:25 PM

if wheelein is what ppl wanna do befor xmas i am down and ill travil to where ever to if is not to far. and yea a windsor meet would be good to

reader585 11-26-2009 02:34 PM

I put a thread like this up less then a week ago an no one bit. O well I will defiantly be up for some wheeling in Orilla. I will be in Bowmanville for the holidays, which is just north east of T.O. So if you guys are serious about doing any kind or size of meet. let me know i am most defiantly in.

Lazler 11-26-2009 04:38 PM

I can't wheel due to open diff and ****ty tires so until i fix it i can't do any wheelin meets ;)

NATEFX407 11-26-2009 05:00 PM

I'm in Lindsay, if we went wheeling around Orillia that would be awesome. I'm down for some wheeling but not so much meeting at a timmy's or something. I'm off work for two weeks at Christmas, a week before and a week after.

lumpy4000 11-26-2009 05:41 PM

the only trucks that shouldn't try swift rapids are lowered ones (sorry bumper draggers, we can meet you at timmies after). you wont have a problem lazler. trust me, i have an open diff as well and drove through 24" of mud repeatedly today at the disapproval of my wife. tehe! if people are interested i can make up a bunch of maps with side trails and such and there are places along the way to stop and have a fire for some burgers and beers. lots of stuff to get stuck in, flex on, attempt and just cruise through. loads of scenery. and loads of room for a lot of trucks to show up and park at the end or along the way.

if anybody has anywhere else they think would be better, im game.

DallyBoy09 11-26-2009 05:47 PM

Trails are fun, wish there were some more around these parts ( near Kingston)

there is the lingham lake trail but im not sure when it closes, and well it goes in so far. Then you hit a swamp and have to turn around.....its taken its far share of large trucks

reader585 11-26-2009 06:09 PM

SO it looks like we have a few guys who are game for this trip. Lets set a date. i will be in Ontario on the 11th of December till the 5th of January. So lets try and shoot for the 19th. It is the weekend before Christmas.

morris 11-27-2009 12:14 AM

count me as a maybe. like i said, if there is some wheeling, i'm down. even with stock goodyears, i'd give er' a go. but like mentioned, i've got 20-30 timmies here to choose from.

lumpy4000 11-27-2009 06:34 AM

well we could meet in hamilton and do a timmies tour; there is about a million to visit, all in one city... lmao. if we do it near my place, we can meet at crappy tire just off highway 11. timmies on the other side of the highway!! we can all meet there, and then whoever wants to go to Swift Rapids is welcome, all so, the lowered street truck guys can show up and have a show and shine and i can even give them a map for a nice scenic drive along highway 13 (tight and twisty). this way we kill two birds with one stone...

so, someone mentioned the 19 of december, how is this for everyone?? swift rapids?? other suggestions?? we should get the details hammered out so we can spread the word...

reader585 11-27-2009 10:16 AM

How about this.

Meet Date : 19 December 2009

Place: Timmies Just off of Hwy 11

Time: 10:30

Thinking start hitting the trails at like 11ish this way we can stop on the trails for lunch.

Lets start getting a list of guys who will be there.

Cheers
Chris

lumpy4000 11-27-2009 12:19 PM

change the meeting place to Canadian Tire, right of hwy. 11. just cause in the morning, the timmies parking lot is jam packed and really small. we dont need to add chaos to confusion.

so, here is the details as it stands.

Date: Sunday, December 20, 2009

Place: Canadian Tire @ Hwy. 11 and Burnside Line. you turn East/left when you get of the highway. Look for my truck in the back of the parking lot...

Time: 1030 meet, 11ish departure, for the stragglers...

Lunch: we can either stop and have a small fire and fry up some birds and beers; or, we can go to like a Casey's/montana's after... lets figure this out as well, as i can supply burgers/buns for everyone interested for like $2/head. nothing like homemade burgers. byob on beverages.

i will go through the area next week and scout out all the available bypasses and side trails, as well as any points of interest and planned stops. i will prep a map for everyone interested. the actual road (swift rapids) is about 10km in one direction and ends at a scenic hydro damn/lock.

any questions comments, pm me or post here. i will also pm my cell # to all those coming just incase.

reader585 11-27-2009 12:49 PM

Ok So I went threw this thread and put a list of people who are coming., if you know someone who wants to come but for some strange reason has not posted yet let myself or lumpy4000 know . And if you can not make it let us know.
