Yea, it's not official but 6-7 peeps are leaning towards this day. Myself included.

 

OK ill be there. I was thinking of camping on the grounds as i have a truck tent. Anybody considering this or is it possible? if not, where are we going to stay, id be down getting a bunch of rooms at the same hotel and we can then load up at once.

I'm glad to be with members, i plan on giving my truck hell (like foot on the floor in second up a dune hell) all weekend. Gonna try and stay under my warranty km so if the trans goes im OK lol. it may need to be dragged to the street where i can call ford haha.

 

You guys decide on some dates and I will try to be there. Only made it once this last summer!

 

id be there every weekend this summer if i could, its only 5 hrs from me and ive still yet to get my truck in some sand that i can actually open it up.

 

A group of us are going to try and take over the back corner of Yogi this year. Last year Morris slept in a truck tent. So i don't think you'll have an issue.
If you don't want to pay for a full site, I'd be willing to go half with someone since its just going to be me on my site.

Last year it was like 83-84.
If they get those two sites again, I'm gonna aim for getting the one across it. Like 64 i think.

 

Alex I think he meant sleep in his truck on the dunes. They close it at 9 or 10. I did do the bed tent thing last year but it got old every day taking it off and putting it on to go play. I'll be bringing the reptar this year fo sho.

 

ok, ill go half on a site with you. That's close enough. Its 6.5 hrs from my place to there, so id be rolling in mid afternoon on the Friday. I would want to leave Monday morning, not Sunday. that way its a good two full days there. as for the truck tent, i dont mind sleeping in it i can have it up and down in 5 minutes.

im going to come back for the labor day weekend also, if anybody wants to go in September.

 

That's what some of us were thinking, a late summer trip would also be nice. My vaca is the week before labour day and if I time it right I'm off almost two weeks.
I also found it was quicker and easier to just undo the straps and pull it out with a couple peeps as built instead of the teardown thing.

so ill need a dune flag, what size bolt do they use so i can add a weld tab on my bumper? I hope to have 2.0 shocks on all corners by this trip.

 

The flags use a 1/2" thread so a 17/32" hole will be perfect for the flag holes.

 

You can just pay me when you get there. We won't pay until we check out.

Can someone help me with this voucher system they use? Maybe STX, you can clarify. What do i need to get into the park? Im reading about vouchers for entry and set times you can enter on their site. And reading about Michigan ORV registration... never done this before.
