Put me on the list of maybes. I've never been to a meet and would like to. It'll give me a chance to check out a new spot and get feedback on my truck from other Ranger owners.

 

The guy who started this thread, 3.0Backfire, mobbed the **** out of his truck when we went to Stoddard Wells last year and his truck was stock.... well I would have called it stock. The only thing that went bad was a tiny twig jammed into the sidewall of the famous Durango Tires he had. Well still has 3 lol. You guys can drive stock trucks on the dirt and have a good time. Just wont be able to do what some of other guys can but hey I have extra seats and so do the other guys so lets get out Barstow in July and have a good time.

 

sometimes the truck is less likely to break when it's stock rather than modified since everything will be working as designed (bump stops for example) I've mobbed my truck with a half *** lift and messed up my tires on inner fender and broke off a shock since I didn't have bump stops, therefore my tires and shocks just bottomed out haha. No excuses, if your truck can run, come on out. I got room in my truck if anyone wants a back seat or the bed :p

Come on you panzees! (sp?) This trip is a month and a half away, start getting your time off, saving your money etc to go.

 

so what day is everyone actually going to be out there mobbin around? July 25 Saturday is day I'd like to be out there. I wanna know so I can ask for it off work soon.

 

Im probably going out there friday to get everything set up and check out the area.

 

Me too im going out friday during the day setting up camp and cruising around and then coming back and meeting everyone.

 

what you dont like setting up tents in the dark?
im really used to it after being a boyscout for the last 7 years and getting to the desert trips at 11 pm lol. tents are fun when its windy as **** out in joshua tree and you cant see ****
