VA meet(s) , RI attempt fail. FML lol.
So, I had planned on meeting a few members in VA on my way to RI.
Well, the trip to RI ended earlier than I wanted/expected due to my truck doing just about everything bad at once lol.
Only took a couple of pics from each meet. I was kinda bummed that I didnt make it.
Picture quality isnt the best (cell phone)
Meeting up with Chris (ranger024x4)
Washington VA was crazy. Tons of construction and lots of traffic. Tysons Corner is like a huge shopping center or something like that. Was trying to follow road sign, directions off of my phone, and Chris's directions (shouldve just listened to all of Chris's directions to start with lol)

Chris is a super nice guy. We swapped some parts. He offered to help me out when he found out about my truck issues. He had to go to work shortly after these pictures were taken. Scored a black center console and an LED brake light bar out of the meet.
Then, left Washington and headed east to Winchester VA to meet Tyler (rangerboy101)

Had to put one in of mine lol

Had to take a picture of Tyler's huge system lol. Sounds nice.

And of course, Tyler had to be somewhere too lol. We talked for a good while before he went off to class. Tyler is an awesome guy. Too bad he had class, It would have been awesome to hang out and do something.
Tyler bought my stock bumper from me.
And if anybody didnt know, Tyler is body lifted now...which looks awesome.
Hope to meet you guys again soon when I attempt the trip again.

I'm probably cooler than Chris. Which by the way Chris, when'd you get that big ugly cap? LOL Taylor, it was good meeting you man. Definitely a good guy and like you said, I wish I didn't have to get to school or else we could have done something.
when you plan to take the trip up to RI next, let me know your route because im on the east side of PA and wouldnt mind to meet up depending on your route.
Tyler your truck looks awesome with the body lift, but you still haven't cut that damn exhaust tip off :P haha

Also, what is the projected finish date for the project? Any welding involved?
Wirelessly posted (iPhone 3GS)
Fix you truck man! I made a trip like you yesterday and mine did break well......okay something fell off but get her up and running so I don't have to polish the wheels with salt making it harder

got it a few months ago on CL. Makes it easier to carry around tools for work.. and when it rains I can go though meh toolbox without getting soaked. win-win for me.
I work in the west falls church metro yard right now getting stuff ready for the new line that runs out to dulles airport the projected completion date is march 2013 i remember right. As far as welding my company isnt doin any of that but im always seeing people doing some welding for BECHTEL they are the top dogs on this project the company i work for is sub-contractor
Nice truck, I go to school in Lexington VA so next time you are having a meetup I'll try to make the drive. I'm thinking about blacking out my headlights and taillights and it looks like you've done that, what did you use?
