Hello! Can anyone help me to locate where the EVAP Purge Vave is? Or just the EVAP assembly is? I’ve been looking around the real axel around the fuel tank, I’m probably looking right at it but if someone could throw me a bone I need it. Thanks!

P.S. sorry if there’s already s thread about this, but the lack of a search option kinda makes it hard. :)

 

Should be just inside passenger side rear wheel up in front of rear axle
May need to drop spare tire

There can also be a Vapor Management valve in the engine bay as well, which can cause Purge Valve codes

Just FYI, DTC codes are not written in English, they are in Binary Language translated to English, so "grain of salt" they never mean what you might think they mean.

They are fairly universal across Ford, GM, VW, Toyota, ect.............

Each "device"/system will have several codes
EVAP system has 16 basic codes, and a few others as well
When you get a Code from an engine Computer, it is helpful, but what is also helpful is looking at the codes the Computer did NOT use for that system.
