Howdy folks. We are in the beginnings of restoring a 95 Ranger that has a long saga behind it. Ironically I’m a GM and Jeep guy so this build is out of my comfort zone.

- Started as the wife’s grandmother’s truck brand new in 95
- Passed truck on to wife in 2003
- Wife used aggressively truck until 2008
- Served as a spare vehicle for family members to use and abuse through 20015
- Son bought truck as a first vehicle in high school
- Finally gave up the ghost on Son’s post-high school adventure in the outlands of Texas in 2020.
- We’ve been hauling the poor thing from Texas to Virginia and now finally to the Quad Cities, Iowa

It has been a recent decision to restore the poor thing back to its 1995 glory.

Just dropped the truck off to get a new engine and rebuilt transmission, up next is suspension and interior restoration

My truck has a short story but it’s being restored currently nonetheless by myself. :)

There are some real knowledgeable folks on the ranger platform in this forum (RonD!!!) so you are in the right place if you ever need some advice.
