Ball joints

Ball joints

Hello, thanks RonD for the info on ball joints. I need help on the torque of the castle nuts on upper and lower ball joints I read that they needed to be torqued to the right number thanks for the help

Lower should ALWAYS be tightened FIRST, 90ft/lb then tighten a bit more to line up for cotter pin
Upper is 65ft/lb and tighten further for cotter pin

Thank you very much RonD you've been very helpful on the torque of ball joints. I knew I could get the right torque numbers on the ranger forum. like i mentioned before when I looked online I got three different numbers and none of them were the numbers you gave me.Plus I didn't know to tighten bottom first. again I thank you very much you made my day. Osmyn
