the throttle position sensor is a sensor on the throttle body on the truck. circuit low likely means the ecu is seeing no voltage. I'd check that its plugged in and no wires are broken. go from there.

Welcome to the forum

You should always include the year and engine size of your Ranger in all your posts it is very helpful to get correct answers

In engine bay find the throttle cable from gas pedal, follow it to the Throttle linkage on the engine
On the Opposite side of throttle linkage you will find the TPS(throttle position sensor)
It will have 3 wires connected
Unplug the wire connector and look for corrosion inside sensor or connector
