Hello from Kentucky!
I recently purchased a '06 Ranger Sport, 4.0L Auto, 4x4. Being the first Ford owner in the family has brought some disappointment at the family get togethers, but it's all good. I'm happy with my current set up, but will be looking to change things around for my own tastes. Any ideas or suggestions are welcome!

Welcome to the forum.
Nice looking truck
I only buy GM cars and only buy Ford Trucks
Over the years GM trucks would nickle and dime me to death, lol, water pumps and starter motors, also ***** and buttons in the cab.
The Ford trucks didn't seem to do that, when they break they break big, but several years between those issues.
So offer to give a relative a ride to the parts store in your FORD to pick up his NEXT water pump or starter motor, lol.
One thing about Ford trucks, you don't drive a Ford truck you Herd it, lol.
Steering is less than responsive, not a Ranger thing just Ford trucks in general, you actually get used to it and find it more relaxing, no more swerving when reaching for something on the other side of the cab, lol.

Welcome to the blue oval!
You'll love your Ranger to pieces. They're great value and they're very reliable, too. Keep 'em maintained and they'll last you forever.
There's quite a bit one can do to the Ranger. Your skillset, wallet, and imagination are the only things that limit you. HIDs are popular choices as well as LED bulbs, 06+ conversion parts too are very popular, window rain guards are a good choice along with the front bug deflector as well. Fender flares are also popular, aftermarket lenses too are popular, explorer visors, overhead console, full length center consoles, expo seats, gauge cluster swaps and cluster color changes are popular, aftermarket radios and all that too are popular. I recommend the how-to section as well as reading through some build logs for inspiration.
Curious, how's the new Sierra? Looks nice.
Don't hurt me, guys.
