But it is the wrong forum for your type of Ford Ranger
This forum is for "North American Rangers", smaller trucks made here from 1983 to 2012.

You have what "we" call an International Ford Ranger, or a T6 Ranger, they are larger and many have diesel engines, these were never sold in US or Canada, or even allowed to be imported.

They just started building the T6 Ranger at the Michigan Assembly Plant in Wayne, Michigan, in 2018
For new 2019 T6 Ranger model here, but not sure how it will compare to International models, same body styling, but not sure of drive train options
Reason they could not be imported was safety and emissions standards, so............there will, for sure, be differences

got it. I been away for 15 years so was unaware Ford was only selling Rangers in other markets until now. the T6 explanation brings a whole group of questions an answer. Even why you call the site: NewRanger. Signed up to learn and that set me in the right direction. Appreciate the responses. I will now investigate ldrives as well. Thanks guys!
