Hello 1999 4.0l Owner
Hi All,
I can't out why I haven't joined this group sooner! My Ranger has 196K and lots of things going on. This weekend I am replacing the camshaft synchronizer. I will post some tips that I have not seen printed anywhere. For example, if you buy the synchronizer part made by Doorman, don't use the sensor bolts that come with it....they are cheap metal and break before you reach torque spec..... Also the alignment tool it comes with is wrong for the 99 4.0L ohv. At least the synchronizer fits!
