Help find a part

I am new to this forum. I am an older person, so I am not savvy with computers or forums. I have a 1996 Ranger and need a 6 pin turn signal flasher. The flasher is blue and the 6th smaller pin is located top right if looking at flasher with catch at bottom. I have looked at the Explorer 6 pin flasher but small pin in wrong corner. I'd appreciate any help in finding it. I'm tired of using hand signals, since most drivers don't know why my arm is pointing or raising outside my window. Sorry if I have posted this in the wrong place.
Thank you
Vinnie D.

Click here for Vendors+Links for 5pin TurnSignalFlasher; not sure about a 6pin version.

I can find a picture of the 6 prong one, but I have no idea what, if anything the small one goes to.

Part # F4ZB-13350-BB

It only uses the 5 "regular" pins, so 6th pin isn't used or needed on most vehicles

If turn signals don't work then you will need to get the 6 pin version from a Ford dealer

The dual flasher has full time power for 4-ways, but key on power for turns
So there was a separate in or out for turns, the 6th pin
But in later flasher version that wasn't needed which will work fine with older wiring IF the 6th pin was key on power IN and not turn out

The 6th pin is needed. Directionals don't work without the small pin. I did go to the dealer. He ordered 1 with the part number from the original flasher. When it came in the flasher had only 5 pins. The parts manager said he didn't know how to get the flasher needed.
thanks
Vinnie

Upgrade

Buy a flasher that is made for using with LED bulbs. Use a zip tie to keep it out of the way.
