Hey everyone at all things ford ranger, but … I also have a problem that’s hopefully an easy fix 🤔.
I recently purchased a 95 ranger that’s been sitting for a few years.
1st of all what sold me was that fact she starts right up cold or warm. Runs like a charm at idle or in low gear. (She has an automatic trans.)
But whenever I take it for test run she cuts out like a bad gas filter or another fuel or firing issue.
Ive replace the following codes already but problem still exists. An yes I replaced gas filter an cleaned tank.
codes:
P 1401 - replaced
PO 443 - replaced
PO 125 - haven’t replaced no longer getting code, for anything else either.
while I’m not getting any other codes now, she starts right up, runs great on low gear, but as soon go to 2nd or 3rd engine cuts out badly, like a fuel or firing issue.
i need a diagram for 1 to see if vacuum lines are in correct places. Other than that I haven’t a clue.
can someone please help me. I think the old girl has possibilities, but now sure.
thanks in advance
Lee
