Hey there
Welcome to the forum
Looks like a good Ranger
You have a 3.0l Vulcan engine, used in Rangers from 1991-2008, good reliable engine, but it is a High RPM engine, makes best power at 3,500RPM, most engines do that at 2,500rpm, so keep the RPMs high for best power, that's what it was design for
1991-1994 3.0l engines used a distributor, 1995 and up didn't
You will have an M5OD-R1 manual transmission
You have a 1st generation Ranger, 1983-1992, some call it Gen 1.5 since Ford made body style changes in the 1989-1992 Ranger
2nd gen is 1993 to 1997, these are 2" wider than 1st gen
3rd gen 1998-2001, same body as 2nd gen but a few mechanical changes
