high pitched chirp

Icon4 high pitched chirp

hey i have a 1999 ford ranger 3.0. just recently a chirping sound started coming from my engine. i replaced the fan clutch, the idler pulley, tensioner pulley, and belt. and the chirp still comes back. when i spray wd40 anywhere on the pulleys the sound goes away for a while. help i don't know what else it could be!

Check your camshaft sychronizer asap,it can waste your engine.

You would be best off to replace the cam sync and sensor. Use only motorcraft parts for this.
