on my 2003 level 2 the map lights stay on all the time unless i move the switch in between on and off; then the one that i am moving it towards goes off but the other satys on. I took the panel out and cleaned it up so there isnt anu corrison or anything. the connections look clean, added new bulbs, and made sure the three screws were in all the way. any suggestions?

is the dimmer switch rolled all the way up until it clicks? try rolling the dimmer switch down. If the door ajar light on?

and the switch in the middle of the map light, the center position is the "door" position for the lights to come on when you open the door. the left position turns on the left one and the right position turns on the right one

 

Basically if the bulbs are in the map lights are on. The dome seems to be working correctly

 

post a pic of your interior light in question...if it is the "*****" style interior light, the map lights and the dome lights are the same
