Found out why my OHC map lights dont work...

Found out why my OHC map lights dont work...

ok in the second photo you can see a close up of the metal connector strip that the lights twist onto to complete the circuit

circled in red you can see where a piece has gone missing which is why they wont light anymore...


in the first photo is what looks to be a connector piece and im wondering if that disconnects and i can replace it or if im screwed and should jsut get a new ohc

just go pick up another OHC and swap the insides if the new one looks crappy. there cheap got mine for $20....

yeah getting a new ohc is the easy route but not the cheapest

there are wires that go to like 4 different places so it doesnt just unclip... unless i was to cut the wires and then splice them back together with the new contact strip but i dont want to take that chance...

trigger, is it working for sure? how much for just the ohc, no wiring or bracket?

close... i tried tin foil and super glue as well as some copper wire and superglue
