Hello, all. I've just acquired my first Ranger. It's a 2005 XLT, standard cab, 6 foot bed, 2 wheel drive, 3.0 Vulcan engine, automatic transmission. 91000 miles. It has scratches, scrapes, and dents all over. The interior appears not to have been cleaned since 2008 or so, but it's in decent condition otherwise.
I'm here because it doesn't run. Im a reasonably capable shade tree mechanic, and I'm looking for advice on what to try first, what the most likely causes are for this problem and that one, etc.
