New guy from kentucky

Hello everyone. Just a short introduction here. My grandfather owns a 1995 Ford ranger that he bought brand new. It currently only has 29,000 miles on it haha. I have currently been trying to help him fix some issues on it which I will be posting about here soon. Looking forward to gaining some knowledge on this forum. Thanks, Andrew.

Welcome to the forum.

Include engine size, 2WD or 4WD and transmission, manual or auto, for that 1995 Ranger in your questions.

1995 was the first year Rangers got the new EEC-V computer, OBD2, Ford did have some issues with their communications software on these 1995 computers, it is OBD2 but....... not all generic OBD2 readers will work with it.

It is a 1995 Ford ranger with a 2.5 liter Mitsubishi 4 cyl motor, 2 wheel drive and manual transmission. Just trying to figure out why every time I push the clutch in the break goes down too, was hoping some other people had this issue too and were able to fix it. Any help is appreciated. Thanks

Not a stock motor then>

Ford only used 2.3l SOHC Lima for a 4cyl in Rangers from 1989 to 1997, then 2.5l SOHC Lima from 1998-2001, then 2.3l DOHC Mazda L from 2001 to 20012

Brake clutch pedal assembly bushings are bad

Google: 1995 Ranger Brake clutch pedal assembly

Well before I started posting I should of probably checked for sure on what year vehicle this is. It is actually a 1998 4cly motor, it does say Mitsubishi on the motor tho and looks like it has 2 spark plugs per cyl. Anyways I think I may replace the whole break clutch pedal assembly and see what happens. I appreciate the help this far!
