New guy, not mechanically inclined

I'm new to the forum, and I am not too great at fixing things haha.
I have a 92 4x2 with the 3.0 that my Granddaddy bought new in 1992, and it has been passed around the family until I ended up with it. I don't drive it often because my daily driver gets a lot better gas mileage and I have a bit of a commute to work.
I'm looking forward to learning a few things here and there and keeping my Ranger around for a long time.

Welcome to the forum

Yes, no pickup truck can brag about MPG, just not what they were designed for, aerodynamics of a brick, sit higher and weight more than small cars.

Agreed. I used to drive a 2005 F150 with the 5.4L, but I traded it in on my little Camry because I took a new job with a commute. I'm glad to have my Ranger, though, for any small hauling I need to do. And it's more fun to drive than my car because it's a 5-speed.
