Icon5 No Heat Much work was done

Hello, my name is Nelson Im new to the forums and Im very happy to join. Recently i encountered a problem in my 1999 Ford Ranger 3.0L as of yesterday the truck has a new thermostat, radiator, upper and lower hose, and radiator i finished all the work yesterday, but still couldn't get any true heat to come out the truck. The truck doesn't over heat but i feel like it doesn't throw hot enough air i checked the heater control valve this morning and it works as it should any suggestions. Thank You

Welcome to the forum

The Heater control valve in the engine bay isn't a "heater control valve"
Its a by-pass valve
It is only used in OFF or MAX AC setting in the cab, it stops all flow thru heater core, so its an on/off valve not "heat control" as in cooler or warmer

The Temp **** in the cab controls the Blend Door, this is in the cab and routes the air from the fan either thru the heater core(HOT) or around the heater core(COLD) and anywhere in between

The Electric motor(actuator) for the Blend Door is a known issue in all Fords
First test if it working
After engine is warmed up turn Temp **** to COLD and then to HOT and see if the air temp is changing, should get COLD and then warm even a little warm means its working
If temp doesn't change then Blend Door actuator is broken

Google: ford ranger blend door
Loads of videos and how-tos on this fix, all apply to 1995 to 2011 Rangers

If temp IS changing then heater core may be clogged up, so it doesn't get HOT, which can be a problem, Dash removal needed to change heater core, but keep a good thought, lol
You can remove BOTH heater hoses at the firewall and use a garden hose to back flush the core in BOTH directions, to see if you can get good flow back again
