Noob from the Caribean
Hi fellas! I'm new here, but I'm part of other forums as well, like the mustang source, corral.net, club protege & others. Want to check out here since I may get a 98 b2500 for my Protege. I also own a 94 Mustang GT and a 85 S10 Blazer 4x4 that I plan on moddifying for some off roading.
I drove the 96 Ranger 3.0L shop truck from a place I used to work for (5 speed manual, yay!) and I liked it a lot. And since I want/need a pickup truck, I may check that one out. I want to learn as much as possible just in case I make the deal. I've read around that the 2.5L uses 8 spark plugs!?!?! Don't tell me it's like the s***ty Nissan.

Have read here and there and it looks that there can be done quite a few fun things with tese 4 banger trucks, like FI. I thought they were zetec based. Glad to know they'rebased on the 'ol reliable 2.3L Ford engine.
