new to this forum at least. I had Rangers from 2000 to 2006, when circumstances put me in a 2011 F150. Now, I've "acquired" a 2003 Ranger XLT 4x4 with a 4.0, auto trans, 2dr extended cab, and 272000 miles on it.

"Acquired" from a son in law who was getting rid of it. I know the last 3 owners, and none of them were gentle with vehicles. And tonight the knock under the floor pan was diagnosed as the right motor mount not connected to the block Looks like i drive the 150 for a while.

Motor is too wide to fall thru the frame so it's OK :)
Exhaust manifolds will hold it up so your good for another 200k

Joking

Yes, you have the 4.0l SOHC engine in a 2003, 205HP and a good deal of torque, while it was never a known issue I could see torque breaking loose a motor mount on that engine
