Odometer stopped working
ODOMETER STOPPED WORKING????
2003 ford ranger 2wd 3.0 5speed odometer quit working speedo works. I have checked the worm gear perfectly intact please help. Speedo works fine cruise control works. Does have check engine light on though. Any advice. I dont wanna drive until I get it fixed. Please please please.
If worm gear is OK then the motor is bad
Speedo and odo share the same "speed" wire on the back of the cluster, so if speedo works the cluster is getting the speed signal
That leaves with broken cluster wiring to odo, broken odo motor or broken worm gear

1995 to 2003 Rangers used the same odometer motors as far as I know, later or earlier did not, for sure
