hope to get fired up on the forums. right now i am in talks with a few manufactures why the 7.7 rear axle doesn't have a disc brake kit. tons o f them for 8.8 but only one 7.5(in Tennessee) and can't ask them anything . their question button doesn't work and there is no phone number. the threads on this subject are old and i'm sure there are newer ones . still looking. neat forum and have learned a lot of other things just browsing.
be seeing you guys and gals.

I'm pretty sure Ford doesn't have a 7.7 rear axle, Rangers only came with 7.5's or 8.8's
You can install Mustang rear discs on the Ranger 7.5" rear axle

i should have read my post before i posted. 7.5 is what it should have said. as far as disc over drum i really like discs for the ease of maintenance and the better response over drums i am trying to bring this truck out of the dungeons and into the now. just replaced all the plastic door handles and tailgate with metal. even though the plastic has lasted over 19 years. just little things to better the truck. i really don't care for the new ranger. too big, and expensive.
my son n law just replaced the radio head and i just replaced all the speakers except the sub. that coming. the speakers. this truck has been all in all pretty maintenance free.
i look forward to your forums.
thanx
