Hi all, as the name suggests I'm Scottish and just picked up a cheap 2011 Ranger XL with decent mileage and a partial service history so I am quite happy.

It's got a fuel leak which I'll have a look at this weekend and the bodywork can best be described as 'rough' but it will probably become a constant work in progress.

It was obviously someones work truck so it will take a wee while before I can get it clean enough for the Mrs to jump into but hey, it'll get there :)

I'll put up a pic once I work out how to :)

Bill

Welcome to the forum

We won't be much help, except for general info since you have a T6 Ranger
We are in North America so could never buy those here, couldn't even import them, we called them International Rangers

Ours were made from 1983 to 2011, and are smaller, petrol only no diesel engines, and no crew cabs

Truck looks good, the little rust spots on the Rocker Panels under the doors, standard Ranger thing, it is from getting in and out... clean them up, paint them good maybe a rust inhibitor, then add some of the Door Step Covers, it will eliminate the wear in that area.

I kind of figured that but the UK Ranger Forum seems non-existent. I imagine they have went onto Facebook which I came off a few months ago. I can pretend I am an honorary American when I'm on here
