Truck shifts to neutral when I hit a bump.

As the title states, my ranger shifts into neutral while in reverse when a bump is hit. This frequently happens when I'm driving in reverse over a "speedbump" in my driveway and the only way to fix it is to put the car in park and then back to reverse. I have an automatic c3 transmission with a floor shifter if that info is of any value. I also replaced the filter and fluid with 3 quarts of type V fluid recently but this problem persisted before that change.
Another problem is that once I hit 35 I can no longer accelerate and the engine only revs up from that point on. No idea if the problems are correlated. Any advice is greatly appreciated. Thanks.

The shifting into neutral could be a broken transmission mount.

Does it actually shift to Neutral or is there just no longer any power being transferred to driveshaft?

So the two things could be related
I am not an automatic transmission guy but I think the coast clutch is needed in reverse and shifting to 3rd in a C3
So maybe time for a rebuild

I think its going to neutral only because the engine returns to its idle RPMs, which is slightly higher than drive and reverse. It has slipped when I was in drive before so I really hope that isn't the case but your insight is definitely a possibility in which i may have to look in to. Thank you!
