v6 swap 07 Tarus to 98 Ranger
Ok 'Im new to the Forum so I'm not even sure where to post my Q? lol I want to put a 2007 Taurus 3.0 into a 1998 Ranger 4x4 , what I'm not sure of is the Knock sensor? The 98 don't have one?

1998 Ranger used the 3.0l Vulcan engine, Taurus did used 3.0l Vulcan in 2007 but also had option of 3.0l Duratec engine, which is NOT the same engine at all
As far as I know no 3.0l Vulcan used a knock sensor in any year, last year was 2008
3.0l Duratec did use a Knock sensor
