Vents not working

Hello, I have an 2001 Ranger Edge 4.0. I've been trying to troubleshoot why the vents aren't working and it's always the same responses. I took down the glove box and came across this issue (see attached photo). I've been scouring the internet for a while and can not find anyone with the same issue or even a part number. Can anyone help? Thanks!!

That vacuum hose connection should plug in on the back of the Vent selector switch on the climate control panel

The 3 cut vacuum lines go to the 3 vacuum motors that control air flow
The other two go to the firewall passenger side where the black one runs to the vacuum reservoir in the engine bay, and the white one change to grey in engine bay and runs to heater hose by-pass valve

You will need to find the vacuum motor hoses and use rubber vacuum hose of correct size to splice them back together, just slide rubber hose over hard plastic hose, no clamping is needed if its a snug fit, its a Vacuum connection, so pulls together, not a pressure connection that tries to push apart

Actually look on the heater air box to see if it can plug in there as seen here: https://i.ytimg.com/vi/bpsul3ynEyA/maxresdefault.jpg
Duct tape won't be there, lol

And you will still need to repair the cut vacuum hoses

Awesome, thank you so much. I knew they came from the back of the control airflow but no idea where they went from there. I didn't want to tear my whole dash apart for nothing. I'll try this and see what happens.
