Wierd clicking noise

I have a 1991 ford ranger with a 2.3 dual plug head motor, it lost oil pressure and I pulled the motor thinking the pump screen was clogged,it wasn’t so I put a new oil filter on it and put it all back together and still no pressure so I scrapped the motor and found a 2.3 1993 mustang motor for 250$ with 44k on it, bought a new fly wheel for it so it could bolt up to my ranger trans, swapped all the pulleys over off my 91 and dropped the motor in and it fired right up and is making great oil pressure, only problem is now it has a ruff choppy idle and a clicking noise that sounds like it could maybe be an injector or intake related problem if any one could give me some advice I’d appreciate it I’m 19 working 45 hours a week and have many other hobbies so my time is limited and my truck is a priority rn so any pointers would be appreciated!
