2000 Ford range 2.5 4x2 swap in 85 merker 2.3 turbo

Iíve got a 2000 ranger and Iím trying to swap a freshly rebuilt 2.3 turbo out of a 85 Merkur what all will I need to complete this swap?? Any ideas where I can find the parts? My ranger has the 5 speed manual, will this transmission fit to the new motor ? Would really appreciate input

Yes the M5OD-R1 transmission from a 2.5l Lima will bolt to the 2.3l Lima turbo
2.5l and 2.3l Lima engines are EXACTLY the same, 2.5l has different crank and longer connecting rods, and thats all, a stroked 2.3l

You currently have MAF(mass air flow) setup in your vehicles computer so you can use it as is with maybe a fuel injector change

Check Mustang forums, they used the same 2.3l Lima engines, non-turbo, and added turbos, so way more info on those sites
