Welcome to the forum
No, I doubt anyone has done that swap specifically
First you need to get the dimensions of the engine you want to use
WIDTH is the big deal with Rangers, the 302/5.0l V8 is 20" wide and barely fits between heater box and steering shaft, exhaust is VERY VERY tight
If its a V6 or 4cyl then length shouldn't be an issue
height can be taken care of with body lift if needed
You will need engine/trans, computer and its wiring harness
If a manual trans then shifter placement can be an issue, just need to measure for that
